About this cartoon: Joe Biden was elected the 46th President of the United States. But his path to getting anything done is challenged by Republican Senate Majority Leader, Mitch McConnell, who has vowed to block Biden's "entire" agenda, much as he did against Barack Obama. The key to power rests in two Senate runoff elections in Georgia taking place in January. If the GOP wins one or both, McConnell will narrowly have the votes to keep blocking legislation, as he did with the items shown in this cartoon. Should the Democrats win both seats, the Senate will have a 50-50 tie that Vice President Kamala Harris can break in the Democrats' favor.
